Museum Operating Hours:

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Open Tuesday – Sunday, September 2, 2008 – March 1, 2009
Open Daily, March 2, 2009 – September 7, 2010 (Labor Day)

Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Open on special Mondays September – March:
January 19, 2009 — MLK Day
February 16, 2009 — Presidents Day
December 31, 2009 — New Year's Eve

Schools groups may enter the museum ½ hour earlier than general visitors.

Free Days:
December 24, 2008 — Christmas Eve (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

April 26, 2009 — El Dia de Los Niños

  Open free for Families the 1st Thursday of each month from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
     
Member 1st Saturday
  Open exclusively for members on the 1st Saturday of each month from 9 – 10 a.m.
Free Parking
Free parking is available in the museum’s parking garage on the west side of Illinois Street.
One Day Admission:

  Youth (ages 2-17) $8.50
  Adult (ages 18-59) $13.50
  Senior (60+) $12.50

Group Rate

Groups save 20% on admission. Advance reservations required. Groups must have a minimum of 20 people to qualify for reduced admission. One chaperone is required for every 10 youth.

The museum accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, as well as cash, check and travelers checks.
