About Our Planetarium
Our 130-seat theater features the DigiStar sky projection system along with over fifty slide projectors, multiple video projectors, specialized planetarium sky effects and a very impressive sound system. When you visit the planetarium, you are treated to a multimedia experience that is a real treat.

About Our Programs
We have a variety of presentations for all ages. You can see the stars of the Indiana night sky or listen to Native American tales of the sun, moon & stars. Come join us to learn about the connection between the winter sky and many of our holiday traditions.

Chihuly's World of Glass


Dates & Times:	• Jan. 6 – 31 * Saturday – Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
Age:	Ideal for ages 5 and up.
Length:	15 minutes.
Experience the sights and sounds of Dale Chihuly’s hot shop! Learn about the glass blowing process by taking a virtual hot shop tour, lead by Chihuly himself. Discover a variety of Chihuly’s glass works around the world and watch the installation of The Children’s Museum’s very own Fireworks of Glass. [Guide]

Cosmic Canopy


Dates & Times:	• Now – Jan. 4 * Daily at 11 a.m., 1:30 & 4:30 p.m. • Jan. 6 – 31 * Tuesday – Friday at 4 p.m. * Saturday – Sunday at 11 a.m., 1:30, 2:30 & 4 p.m.
Age:	Ideal for ages 5 and up.
Length:	15 minute presentation.
Every night the stars form a glorious canopy over the earth. They enthrall us with their majesty and tranquil beauty. Do you recognize the familiar star patterns called constellations? Can you name some of the stars? Cosmic Canopy will show you how to find them.

The Sky Above Mr. Roger's Neighborhood


Dates & Times:	• Now – Jan. 4 * Daily at 12:30 p.m. • Jan. 6 – 31 * Tuesday – Friday at 2 p.m. * Saturday – Sunday at 12:30 & 3:30 p.m.
Age:	Ideal for preschool and up.
Length:	25 minutes.
Wondering about the Moon, the shapes in the clouds & the stars of the Big Dipper will spark children's curiosity and imagination about science in this show, starring Fred Rogers. You will see familiar faces in the characters from "The Neighborhood of Make-Believe," who will explore the sky with you. [Guide]

Season of Light

Age:	Ideal for ages 6 and up.
Length:	35 minutes.

Free tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10 a.m. at the Lower Level ticket booth.
